Extracurricular Activities (ECAs)
All aspects of interest, growth and potential are strongly encouraged in SBIS.
One’s success or achievement shouldn’t just be bound within academic classrooms but within one’s talents and passion. Here in SBIS, we offer a myriad of Extracurricular Activities for students to explore their capabilities beyond the textbooks. Allowing growth in confidence and a well-rounded SBIS learning environment.
ECAs take place outside of school hours which is after school. ECAs are reviewed each term and may not always be available. Details of activities that are available are published at the start of each term on the Schoology.
*Most of the ECAs require a minimum number of participants for sessions to run, and as such may not always be available.

Early Years to Year 3 students are required to subscribe to the meal plan to ensure each child eats well-balanced meals every day. The meal plan menu is uploaded to the school’s portal at the end of each month so parents can view and select the everyday menu served to their child.
Year 4 to Year 6 students may choose to subscribe to the meal plan; or to purchase food on their own from the school canteen, or bring food from home.
All secondary students may choose to purchase food from the school canteen or to bring food from home.
The school canteen offers a variety of nutritional hot meals as well as a range of sandwiches, pastries and cut-fruits for sale. Each day the students have a wide range of Western and Asian food selections to choose from.
As the school operates on a full-day schedule, the students have a 30-minutes break in the morning and another 30-minutes for lunch.
